Dear Parents:

It's time to take flight! Where are we going? I'm glad you asked. We are taking a trip "Around The World"!

Please find details for our 2024 recital below as we prepare to take flight.

​

Recital Date: June 22, 2024

​

Location: Southwest Community College, 1156 College Drive Summit, MS 39666

​

Recital Fee per student: $150: This includes a recital shirt and 1 recital booklet due by Feb 1, 2024

​

Recital Tickets: Each student is asked to sell at least FIVE tickets. The student that sells the most tickets will be crowned "Miss TNT" on the night of the recital. June 15, 2024, will be the last day to purchase tickets to count toward Miss TNT. Melanie Brown was our 2023 Miss TNT and will do the honors of crowning our 2024 Miss TNT.

The Face of TNT (Cover Girl): We are asking all students to sell ads for our recital booklet. You may reach out to businesses or family and friends. The student that sells the most ads in dollars will be named The Face of TNT (Cover Girl) and she will be the cover of our 2024 recital booklet with a special photo shoot. Last year's Cover Girl was Balley Guidroz. Who will be the new Face of TNT for 2024?

Costume Fees: As with everything l do with TNT, I try my best to keep everything as affordable as possible. Please note that each student will have a costume fee that ranges between $25-$40. Some costumes will be costumes that we already had before.  You will receive a costume list for your child once we've finished putting the performance number together. It's our goal for each student to perform at least twice a recital. Some students will perform more than others due to them taking multiple classes. 

​

Practices: There will be additional recital practices leading up to the recital. Please try to make these practices. Too many missed practices will cause your child to be dropped from routines.

​

Mother/Daughter: Last year our Father Daughter routine was a hit. This year we are doing a Mother-Daughter routine. If you are interested in performing, please get with Coach Nikki to sign up. You MUST be able to attend practices to dance. A set practice schedule will be given before the end of the year.

​

Deadlines: Deadlines are a MUST to follow. We are putting on a production and paying fees and meeting deadlines is a MUST. If you can not meet deadlines you may have to sit this one out.

​

Commitment: Commitment is KEY! Once we start putting this show together if you decide to pull your child or drop out of the show it puts a strain on everyone. Please make sure you can commit. If you decide to drop from the show there are NO REFUNDS on anything that you have paid for.

​

Backstage Moms: I will hand-select backstage moms for the show! Backstage moms are required to purchase a recital shirt to wear on the day of the show. Backstage moms will help make sure the kids are behaving, are in the proper dressing area, and they will help make sure they are dressed promptly and ready for the next number on stage. This is not an easy job so patience is key!

Recital Shirts: Recital Shirts will be available to purchase for family, friends and supporters for $20

​

Recital Book Photos: Recital book photos will be scheduled as soon as costumes arrive, individual pictures will be available for purchase this year!

​

DRESS REHEARSAL:  We will have a dress rehearsal on June 21, 2024, at Southwest Community College! Dress Rehearsal is MANDATORY! Please make preparations NOW to have your child there! You have SEVEN MONTHS to make preparations! NO EXCUSES! Dress rehearsal helps make the show run smoothly on the day of recital. For dress rehearsal, all students will bring "EVERYTHING" which means ALL COSTUMES! After dress rehearsal, ALL COSTUMES will be left at the facility so there is no chance of leaving anything at home.
